11 Giugno 2023The 55th edition of Tessingiu closed a week ago, the Sardinian handicraft exhibition in the heart of Sardinia that enlivened Samugheo, from 30 July to 4 September, enriching it with a myriad of events dedicated to art, design, history and the future, profound culture, archeology.
This year Tessingiu has given us some incredible numbers for which we are really happy and grateful! We sincerely thank all of you for coming to visit us, you have slowly filled the Exhibition, the Museum and all of Samugheo, sweeping away two years of doubts and uncertainties and giving us new hope for the future. We sincerely thank the 62 artisans who enthusiastically participated showing curious visitors the beauty of Sardinia’s traditions, history, culture and future that flows in their never banal creativity that gives life to masterful and unique works of art.
We thank all the members of the Pro Loco of Samugheo one by one for the impeccable organization and for the daily welcome to visitors, as every year, accompanied by smiles and kindness. We immensely thank the Municipality of Samugheo which this year surpassed itself and the MURATS_Museo Arte Tessile Sarda with its director, curator of Tessingiu, Dr. Baingio Cuccu, without whom all this, once again, would not have been possible. And finally, we thank Samugheo and the entire community for their constant support, a precious ally for half a century for the success of the Sardinian handicraft exhibition that greets you and returns next year for an even more crackling 56th edition!
